1. What Settlerock is
Settlerock is a technology platform that orchestrates payments across licensed acquiring, processing and settlement partners. Settlerock is not a bank, an electronic money institution or a crypto-asset service provider. Regulated services in a merchant’s payment flow are provided by the licensed partners named in that merchant’s agreement.
2. Accounts and verification
Sandbox access is available on signup. Live access requires business verification and is granted per merchant account at Settlerock’s and its partners’ discretion. Payouts are made only to destinations verified at onboarding.
3. Commercial terms
Pricing, settlement schedule, settlement currencies and reserve terms are set per merchant account at underwriting and stated in writing in the merchant agreement before live processing begins.
4. Acceptable use
Merchants must comply with the prohibited and restricted businesses policy, applicable law, and the rules of the card schemes and partners carrying their traffic.
5. Data
Settlerock does not receive card numbers through merchant-facing surfaces it operates, except on the direct API for merchants holding a current PCI DSS attestation, where card data is transmitted and never stored.
6. Automation
Features labelled early access or planned are provided as described on the honest scope page. Automated actions proposed by the platform are executed only on explicit confirmation by an authorised user unless that user has enabled automatic execution for a specific playbook.
